Philippines readies for KPO. Trade and IndustrySecretary Peter B. Favila (center) briefed CEOs and industry partners on the country’s advantage in KPO areas like game development and engineering and architecture design outsourcing in preparation for the e-Services Philippines Global IT Sourcing Conference and Exhibit on February 15 and 16, 2007, an annual meeting of industry players in the IT and BPO space. The global KPO market is projected to grow to US$17 billion by 2010, Favila reported.
